Plegadis falcinellus

The back ibis (an adult) has bands on both legs but the two younger and smaller ibis in the front do not. The wings are mostly black with tinges of iridescent green and very dark rose hues. This tight cluster is typical of glossy, unlike egrets, herons or curlews. Glossy ibis frequently forage with snowy egrets.
