The 11,000 acre Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary includes several distinct habitats including the largest remaining virgin bald cypress forest in North America. It is located east of Naples, Florida. Corkscrew includes a 2.25 mile boardwalk through the different habitats, and is a great place to discover and photograph the virgin cypress trees, lettuce lakes, and of course birds.
