The wood ducks in the first four photos were at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary near the Connecticut River south of Northampton, Massachusetts.  Most of the other ducks were photographed on Damariscotta Lake, Maine.   The common merganser family was at Muscongus Bay (near middle of the lake), and the wood ducks were at Bell's Cove (southern end of lake).  The mute swan was at Fannie Stebbins Nature Preserve near East Longmeadow, Massachusetts
