These Atlantic puffins and black guillemots were at Eastern Egg Rock, a tiny island a few miles east of New Harbor, Maine. I was shooting these photos from a "Puffin Watch" boat that was rocking and rolling with the waves, so it was hard to keep the birds in focus through the telephoto lens.
