These Black Skimmers were hunting along a stretch of Bunche Beach, Fort Myers, Florida. In processing this image, I wanted to emphasize the flock dynamic and also the distinct two-tone orange-black mandibles of each bird. I used the Fractalius filter on its own Photoshop layer, blended with the original image - to taste.
