Bryant's Island, Damariscotta Lake, July 2007.  The idea here is to focus mainly on the head and tail and wing-body outline, as the main structural elements when the eagle lifts off.  I started with a photo of the eagle lifting off, then in Photoshop used several Nik Color Efex filters to achieve this image.
