Mary Jo Ballator's B&B, Ash Canyon, Huachuca Mountains. The Audubon's race of the Yellow-rumped Warbler is found primarily in the western United States, west of the Rocky Mountain. The Audubon's race has a yellow throat, and the Myrtle race has a whitish throat. It is one of the most visible warblers, with yellow rump ("butter butt") exposed in open woods and shrubs.
