I spent the last two weeks of January in Sanibel, Florida and had a great time photographing birds at Ding Darling NWR, Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, Venice Rookery, Bunche Beach, and other area locations. I was joined during the first week by my friend Karl Gerstenberger, a dedicated excellent bird photographer. Here are some photos from that two-week period.
