The spirit, power and majesty of a bald eagle are widely celebrated attributes. But when an eagle flies overhead after sunrise, as this one did over my head near the Connecticut River in May 2008, it becomes an up close and personal experience.  I photographed this bird as it approached, and processed the image in Photoshop with several Color Efex filters.
