A lesser yellowlegs is a common but elegant shorebird found in salt marshes, stepping daintily through shallow pools in search of food.   I photographed this one wading through the front pool at Weskeag Marsh, South Thomaston, Maine.  With such bright yellow legs, I wanted to extend that to a red and golden aura that surrounded the bird.  All done in Photoshop with Color Efex filters.
