These Snow Buntings were using this tree as a staging point to swoop to the ground, grab some small seeds and return to the tree. I don't normally think of these birds as spending much time in trees but they seemed to like this one. This could have been good as video but I'm not much of a videographer. Plus these stills freeze the beautiful feather detail in these buntings.
