This Northern Gannet was landing at his nest on Bonaventure Island, Quebec, July 2010. These are large birds, 3 feet long and 6 feet wide, and on landing their size becomes more apparent. They have these beautiful aquamarine eyes, and also have binocular vision. This fractalius image emphasizes the strong geometrical lines of this bird.
