These Marbled Godwits were foraging in the mud flats at Pine Point, Scarborough Marsh, south of Portland, Maine. In this image, I sought to spotlight the birds, and to enhance their graceful and strongly geometrical features, especially their long slightly upcurved bills. Again, I used the Fractalius plug-in filter in Photoshop to darken the background and focus on the birds.
