Snowy Egrets and Glossy Ibis

Weskeag Marsh, South Thomaston, Maine

Although snowy egrets are common at Weskeag, glossy ibis are not. A group of four ibis congregated with egrets in August 2009 and two of the ibis were banded. The individual in this photo is not banded.
